Miller branch in Castle Rock, due to a strategic alliance to offer genealogical education and mentoring to the public free of charge. The National Genealogical Society was organized in Washington, DC, in 1903 and for its mission seeks to serve and grow the genealogical community by providing education and training, fostering increased quality and standards, and promoting access to and preservation of genealogical records. Federation of Genealogical Societies
The Federation of Genealogical Societies was founded in 1976 and represents the members of hundreds of genealogical societies.
