Description:  Marylee Hagen will share her 20 years of research experience and how she found and met her mother’s living relatives in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.  She started first in the United States before going abroad and followed her ancestors backwards to their homelands. Important strategies, techniques, resources and examples of documents, records and photos will be shown through a power point presentation and display boards.



Marylee Hagen has a B.A. & M.A. in Education from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.  She started doing genealogy research in 1995 and has presented programs since 2002.  She is a member of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies Speaker’s Bureau.  She belongs to several genealogy societies in the Denver Metro area and South Dakota. She is the Past Ireland Representative for W.I.S.E (Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England) Family History Society.  She has organized and given programs for the COLORADO IRISH FESTIVAL in Littleton, CO for several years.  Marylee has traveled and researched in IRELAND and NORWAY.  She is also the President, Cultural Director and Genealogy Coordinator for SONS of Norway Fjelldalen Lodge Denver.  She lives in Centennial, Colorado.
